Satan is clearly identified as the adversary of mankind throughout the Word of God. It is equally clear that he has been deposed of the position and authority that he once held over the human race. The ingenious plan of God to destroy the works of the devil was consummated in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! It is not our place to struggle with the devil. It is our place to enforce the victory that has already been won! Hebrews 10:12-13 states: "Whereas this One (Christ) after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins for all time sat down at the right hand of God, then to wait until His enemies should be made a stool beneath His feet." The authority to bring a demonstration of Satan's defeat is in the hands of every believer.
