Not everybody has a drastic transformation when they become a believer. But for Nate Augeson, the cleansing of the Holy Spirit came upon him right at the very moment he repented of his sins and asked Jesus Christ into his heart to be his Lord and Savior. Nate was brought out of the darkness of addiction in his twenties and he is now a self-employed entrepreneur.
Nate says, “I think everybody who experiences the rotten, disgusting things of their past the Bible tells us that He works all things for the good of those who love Him. That means even the bad and rotten stuff from our past. I think we experience that stuff so then we can, in turn minister to others in those areas. I wanted to incorporate some sort of Christianity in all the businesses that I started this last year.”
God transformed Nate and Nate started building his own foundation on Jesus Christ.
“I just think it’s important to honor Christ in every aspect and so I know construction and that’s the way I want to honor Christ,” he says.
By day Nate runs a construction business. His workers are also believers. And by night and on weekends, he runs a Christian kiosk at the mall where he not only sells merchandise but serves as a witness and a prayer warrior in the retail world.
“I think this what God has called me to do. I don’t know where it’s going or where it is going to take me but I know this is where He wants me for now but we’re definitely building important relationships,” he added.
Nate has a unique background that God is using for His own greater glory and Nate says he’s just happy to be the hands of such important work, whatever it may be.
“I think the Bible talks about us being ambassadors for Christ. No matter what we do from our children to our wives friends and to the business world we are ambassadors. I believe that every human being who comes to the knowledge of God is a miracle. I believe they’re miracles whether they know it or not.
It’s just a matter of whether they can grasp a hold of it,” he concluded.
