Ethical standards for visual media on cross.tv

cross.tv is a family-friendly online Christian community platform and serves some ethical guidelines which we hope serve all of our members. We are following strict terms and guidelines and we are also subject to legal restrictions and anti-defamation-laws and anti-discrimination-laws. Our Terms of Use reflect that clearly.
We have over half a million people from over 300 different countries and from numerous backgrounds and cultures as members on cross.tv, so it's highly challenging for the community management to satisfy every person's preferences and different moral sensitivities. Yet we want to satisfy the preferences of believers, but also be a good example to the world.
cross.tv does not allow account profile pictures which include e.g. nudity, bathing suit photos and nude body parts of the torso. Yet, we have to allow bathing wear - but we do not promote it or feature it on the site. In other words, users can upload bathing wear pictures to their personal profiles, but we do not feature them on public areas, such as the community page or featured photo sections.
We have to be compliant to anti-defamation/anti-discrimination-laws of the United States where CROSS.TV is registered and its definition of nudity is "visible intimate body-parts" which in most cases doesn't include bathing wear pictures though. Nevertheless, the community has a right of censorship and can force the removal of unwanted media content by flagging it and down-rating it.
Thank you for keeping cross.tv a pleasant place for everyone!
